Master's Seminar 1

Lecturer presents developmental stages of each national literary science and their methodological approaches, s/he emphasizes its relationship to the concurrent methods in the general context of literary studies. Lecturer also presents topics of seminar work in the current year, which are associated with the selected methodological starting points and literary phenomena.
Students choose the topics and prepare papers in the form of fragments (methodological starting point, selected bibliography). Later on they present the entire thesis. Each phase of students' work is assessed. The majority of the course is devoted to presentations of students' work and discussions.
Master's thesis are assessed after their public presentation.
